We are looking for a Engagement & External Relations Assistant to work in the Front-Desk & Workforce Planning Unit of EFSA.

The interim will:
Support the preparatory work to design engagement and communication activities targeting internal and external stakeholders;

Manage engagement and communication with external stakeholders across different channels, including social media (e.G. Linked In);

Provide support for activities put in place by EFSA to assist applicants in preparing dossiers for food and feed products requiring EFSA's evaluation;

Support the preparation of materials (e.G. visuals) for social media and other channels;

Contribute to the preparation and implementation of communication initiatives aimed at internal and external audiences.
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;

Strong understanding of media channels and social media;

Previous experience in stakeholder engagement and communication;

Behavioural competencies: high level of commitment, political savvy, intellectual horsepower and ability to work with others.
Assignment: initial contract of 3/4 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.
Salary: approx. €2326 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. xpavfwm Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
