We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Occupational Therapist/Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering the highest standard of service in assessing and managing new clients to SLEC by providing expert clinical care, implementing evidence-based programs, and mentoring support staff. You will take ownership of client outcomes, departmental operations, and the professional development of your team.
Responsibilities- Lead the assigned OT section, providing clinical, administrative, training, and quality improvement oversight.
- Assess and treat clients across centre-based, home-based, and residential care, ensuring high standards of care.
- Supervise and mentor OTAs, TAs, and students, supporting professional development and operational efficiency.
- Plan and implement clinical programs, home visits, caregiver training, and daycare activities aligned with the GRACE model of care.
- Manage gym assets, equipment procurement, and facility maintenance to ensure safe and functional rehabilitation spaces.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, volunteers, and partners to enhance client care and engagement.
- Participate in audits, research, QIP initiatives, and develop training materials to improve team knowledge and practices.
- Support outreach events, professional training, and other projects assigned by the manager.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and licensed to practice in Singapore, preferably with 1 to 3 years’ experience.
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of working experience.
- Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
- Capable of working independently and under time constraints.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
