NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Physiotherapy Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) to work within Mental Health Physiotherapy as part of a close multidisciplinary team at Stobhill Hospital. The post is suited to someone with experience in healthcare or an exercise-related setting, particularly where clients have a wide range of physical and mental health needs. The successful candidate will require strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and confidence in managing their own workload independently.
Physiotherapy at Stobhill Hospital provides a comprehensive service to adult and older adult mental health services, supporting service users with mobility issues, musculoskeletal pain, joint problems, and respiratory conditions. The role covers specialist adult inpatient areas and offers opportunities to learn from experienced clinicians while contributing to service development and high-quality patient care.
All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
