Full time contract - 37.5 hours per week A Full UK Manual driving licence is Essential for this role.We support four adult men with autism and associated learning disabilities
, who may at times display behaviours that challenge.
- Individuals are supported on a 1:1 basis
, with additional 2:1 support for one individual when accessing the community
. - We are looking for compassionate, patient and confident Support Workers who can build positive relationships and provide person-centred support.
- Previous experience of Positive Behaviour Management (PBM) or supporting people with behaviours that challenge is desirable.
- If you do not have previous PBM experience,
full training will be provided
, and you will need to be willing to attend and complete PBM training. - You will play an important role in helping the people we support develop their independence, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences within their home and community.
1 - Experience of working with Autism.
2 - Experience and understanding of PBM
3 - A general understanding that each of those we support is an individual and that their care reflects their individuality.
Shift are a mixture of earlies and lates
7.00 - 14.30 or 14.30 - 22.00
Wakeful - 22.00 - 7.00.
sleep in shift is in addition to the wakeful each night - 22.00 - 07.00

This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK Home Office rules, as it does not meet the required salary or skill level criteria.
Whilst we encourage applications to other roles, candidates who already have a valid right to work in the UK through other immigration routes or permissions must meet the minimum eligibility of having at least two years remaining on your current visa.
