Salary: £40,000 per annum + Annual Salary Reviews
Hours:
Monday–Friday | 08:30 - 17:00
Contract:
Permanent | Full-Time
Hybrid (remote & site): 2–3 days onsite | Remaining days working from home
No nights. No weekends. No shift patterns.
Instead, you'll work Monday to Friday in a structured hybrid role, conducting functional assessments and using your clinical judgement to understand how an individual's health conditions affect their everyday life. You don't need previous Disability Assessor experience. Full training is provided.
What Will You Be Doing?As a Disability Assessor, you'll meet with individuals and complete detailed functional assessments exploring how physical, mental health, cognitive and neurological conditions affect their daily living and mobility.
- Conduct face-to-face functional assessments
- Explore medical history, symptoms, treatment and functional ability
- Review supporting medical evidence
- Assess the impact of multiple health conditions on everyday activities
- Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement
- Produce clear, structured and evidence-based clinical reports
- Complete elements of your documentation remotely
- Work autonomously while following an established clinical framework
- This isn't about diagnosing, prescribing or delivering treatment. Your role is to listen, assess, analyse and report.
We're keen to hear from UK-registered healthcare professionals from a range of adult clinical backgrounds.
You must be one of the following:- Adult Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Adult Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Adult Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
- Adult Physiotherapist
- Adult Occupational Therapist
- Paramedic
Whether you're currently working within the NHS, community services, primary care, private healthcare, rehabilitation, mental health, learning disabilities or another adult clinical environment, your experience could transfer extremely well into this position.
What You'll Need:- Active UK
NMC or HCPC registration - Minimum
12 months' post-registration clinical experience - Experience working with adult patients/service users
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Good written communication and report-writing ability
- Confidence using IT systems and completing clinical documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Previous Disability Assessor experience is not required.
- Monday–Friday working
- No evenings, nights or weekends
