Overview

Guidance Consultants provide direct support to our clients on behavioral, emotional health, family, and wellness related issues, remotely from Canada. As the world’s largest provider of EAP and managed care, this is an exceptional growth opportunity to use your clinical expertise to help clients navigate their resources and provide in the moment support.

Responsibilities
  • Telephonically address client concerns by conducting clinical intakes and referring clients to the appropriate resources, such as to a therapist or counselor
  • Ensure adherence to departmental protocols, best practices, and customer requirements to maintain compliance and high-quality service delivery.
  • Using critical thinking and problem-solving skills, quickly resolve issues and identify resources to ensure a positive client experience and complete satisfaction
  • Educate client about resources, eligibility, and services with a positive and professional approach
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of cases within our proprietary database
  • Maintain awareness of emerging behavioral health trends and best practices to enhance service delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care and alignment with client-specific service expectations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a Behavioral Heath field.
  • Superior active listening skills and a demonstrated ability to be empathetic to all client concerns
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Clinical assessment experience in the following areas: mental health, chemical dependency and crisis stabilization
  • Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in order to resolve client issues effectively
  • Experience working with clients in crisis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills, highly self-motivated, and dependable
  • Stable work history required
  • Intermediate computer skills
Compensation and Benefits

Full benefits package for full-time employees will be provided in accordance with local labor laws and may include:
