Join Our Home Care Team in Glasgow North East (Part Time Posts)

Are you based in the North East of Glasgow and ready to make a real difference in your community? Join Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) as a Home Carer - a local role supporting local people.

As a Home Carer, you'll help older and vulnerable residents live independently r role includes:

• Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, shaving)
• Meal prep (including meat and pork dishes using ovens, microwaves, air fryers)
• Medication support
• Using specialist moving & handling equipment

No Experience? No Problem! We offer a comprehensive 10-day induction:

• 8 days of training at our learning hub in Glasgow City Centre
• 2 days shadowing other experienced carers

Please note - you must be able to complete the 10 day induction which runs full-time:
Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm.

What You'll Need:

• Compassion and a desire to help others
• Willingness to gain an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (we'll support and fund this)
• SSSC registration (must apply within 2 weeks and be registered within 3 months of employment, we'll cover the cost)
• PVG Scheme membership (you'll cover the cost)

You may be required to travel across the Glasgow North area depending on service needs.

Interviews will take place 15th and 16th September 2026.

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
