Female Support Worker Londonderry Driver

We are looking for a Female Support Worker (Driver Required) to join our team in Derry/Londonderry!

Mencap is looking for enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our amazing team in Derry/Londonderry , where your role will have a lasting impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities. Please note a clean UK driver's licence is required for this role.

• Support people with learning disabilities in their daily lives and routines

• Assist with personal care and medication, including bathing and dressing

• Help with finances and everyday tasks like shopping and bill payments

• Encourage independence and social inclusion by supporting community activities and groups

• UsePositive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance quality of life

• Build trusting, meaningful relationships based on empathy and respect

• A genuine passion for supporting others

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts includingevenings ,weekends , andovernight

• A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude

• Willingness to register withNISCC and undergo anenhanced Access NI check

• Clean UK drivers license is required for this role

Contract & Shift Details:

• 2 x 37.5 full-time contract - various hours

Shifts:

• Day Shifts: 9.00am - 9.00pm

• Night Shifts: 9:00pm 9:00am
  (Rota prepared 4+ weeks in advance to support your work/life balance)

Mencap holds a Home Office sponsorship licence; however, due to current restrictions on our allocation of Certificates of Sponsorship, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Applicants must therefore have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
