Position: Senior / Occupational Therapist (Paediatrics)

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established private paediatric therapy provider in Singapore, offering child-centred and evidence-based intervention services for children with developmental and learning needs. The organization works closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals to support children’s development, independence and overall well-being.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments for infants, children and adolescents with developmental, sensory, physical and learning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support children’s motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, attention, self-care and functional independence.
  • Monitor and document children’s progress, adjusting therapy plans as required.
  • Work closely with parents, caregivers, teachers and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support each child’s development.
  • Provide parents and caregivers with home-based therapy strategies and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports in accordance with professional standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions, professional development and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree or recognized professional qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore, with a valid Practising Certificate.
  • At least 1 year of relevant Occupational Therapy experience, in a paediatric setting.
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, learning difficulties or other developmental / neurological conditions is an advantage.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, intervention and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Patient, empathetic and child-centred approach.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
