Bayshore Community Occupational Therapist

Location: Sioux Lookout

Bayshore Healthcare seeks a Community Occupational Therapist to enhance client outcomes through specialized assessments and treatment plans. Collaborate with a dynamic health care team in a rewarding environment.

In your role as a Community Occupational Therapist, you'll perform client assessments and actively participate in treatment program evaluation. You will maintain clinical accuracy while working with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive client care. Your leadership will extend to observing and mentoring therapy assistants during client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clients and develop customized treatment plans

• Keep clinical records current and compliant with requirements

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health teams

• Communicate treatment strategies to clients and families

• Guide support staff in the Occupational Therapy program

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required

• Good standing registration with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists

• Experience with home-based therapies and assessments

• Commitment to continuous learning and safety standards

• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of client information
