Occupational Therapist – St. Thomas (Elgin County)
This part‑time/casual position offers an integrated approach in therapy services delivered in clients’ homes. It is a unionised environment. You will work as part of a team that fosters an inclusive, diverse work environment.
- Change your clients’ lives in the comfort of their homes by assessing and building an accurate therapy care plan based on the real environment of our client. This includes developing health promotion programmes, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety.
- Use creativity and critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients with diverse needs, solving problems that interfere with their ability to do important things.
- Partner with clients’ family members, caregivers, and other health care professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans.
- Leverage a hybrid model of care, including face‑to‑face and virtual, to build a schedule that works for you and the client.
- Receive support, mentorship, and training from a stable, multidisciplinary team while maintaining independence and flexibility.

- Graduate of a recognised post‑secondary program in Occupational Therapy.
- Current active registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
