Public Health Lead Healthy Lifestyles and Communities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced public health professional with a strong understanding of population health improvement and the ability to work effectively across complex partnerships and systems. You will be able to use evidence and intelligence to identify local health needs, develop innovative solutions and deliver measurable improvements in health outcomes.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Master's degree in Public Health, or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Substantial experience in public health improvement, health promotion or health protection.
• Experience of commissioning, developing and managing public health services, projects or programmes.
• Experience of working and influencing within multi-agency partnerships and stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret evidence, needs assessments and performance data to support decision-making.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver outcomes and respond effectively to emerging issues and risks.
• Knowledge of public health priorities and the wider health and care system
