Salary: The salary ranges from £20,727.00 - £25,237.80 based 30 hours per week (across 4 days), 42 weeks per year.

This is equivalent to a full‑time salary of £32,077.50 to £39,058.50 based on 37.5 hours over 52 weeks

As part of our dedicated Integrated Therapy Team, you'll join a community of passionate and supportive Team Members who are committed to helping learners feel safe, understood, and empowered to achieve their potential. Working with learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, you'll play an important role in providing therapeutic support that helps them build confidence, develop emotional resilience, and experience success both within the college environment and beyond.

No two days are the same. Each morning begins with a collaborative team briefing, providing an opportunity to share insights, celebrate progress, and reflect on the needs of the learners you support. Throughout the day, you may deliver individual therapy sessions, facilitate small-group interventions, or work alongside education Team Members to provide integrated therapeutic support within the classroom. Every interaction is an opportunity to foster trusting relationships, promote emotional wellbeing, and help learners feel valued, heard, and supported.

Collaboration sits at the heart of our therapeutic approach. Alongside your direct work with learners, you'll work closely with education Team Members, our onsite Creative Arts Therapist, families, and external professionals to create holistic support plans that enable every learner to flourish. You'll also benefit from protected time for clinical supervision, reflective practice, mentoring, and ongoing professional development, ensuring you feel supported in your own growth while helping learners achieve theirs.

• Taking a trauma informed approach to clinical work. You’ll work with a small caseload of learners who will have varying Learning, Communication, sensory processing, and social interaction needs. You’ll be able to do this through 1:1 support, classroom work and group sessions.
• Working with the wider team to offer the best support to our learners, including our onsite creative art therapists, teachers, and teaching assistants, and taking part in Multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Administration. Whilst doing all your great work with the learners, we’ll need you to keep their records up to date and carry out all the administrative tasks you’d expect to come with this role. Don’t worry though, during the school holidays you can work from home so that you have the space to do this without it impacting the time you spend with the learners.

• A recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, along with HCPC Registration and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language.
• Good IT skills – We’ll train you on how to use our systems, but it would help if you had a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• A full driving licence. Whilst this role is based in a single location, there will be times that you need to attend meetings offsite which would require the use of a vehicle.
