Position: Occupational Therapist for Developmental Support

This role offers the flexibility of an independent contractor position in home-based therapy.

In this position, you will engage with children to provide personalized assessments and interventions, crafting effective treatment plans that reflect best practices in occupational therapy. You will actively support clients and their families in achieving therapeutic goals and enhancing daily living skills. Regular evaluation of interventions will ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments using standardized evaluation tools

• Develop treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices

• Coach clients and their families in goal-oriented strategies

• Assess and adjust interventions based on client progress

• Implement SMART goals into assessment practices

Requirements:

• Experience in working with children and teens with Autism

• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

• Proof of professional liability insurance

• Valid driver's license is mandatory

• ADP authorizer status preferred
