Pebbles offers Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Special Education, and Speech Therapy under one roof, enabling coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

The Centre follows international best practices to help children achieve their highest potential and supports families through evidence-based intervention and guidance.

Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based at Pebbles Therapy Centre in Chennai. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children with a range of developmental and clinical needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions in one-on-one or group settings.

The role involves monitoring progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating regularly with families and caregivers to provide education and home-based strategies. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, special educators, and medical professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each child.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and clinical management of Speech disorders.
Candidates should possess expertise in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in children.
Candidates should possess competency in identifying and managing Dysphagia and related feeding or swallowing concerns.
Recognized degree or master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology/Speech and Hearing, with appropriate licensure/registration as required.
Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a multidisciplinary or clinical rehabilitation setting.
Ability to develop individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, and document progress clearly and accurately.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and support families with empathy and clarity.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and quality standards of care.
