In this role, you will leverage your clinical coding expertise to manage diverse work assignments that require strong judgment and independent determination. You'll extract vital clinical information from medical records and apply appropriate procedural codes, including ICD-10-CM and CPT. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, along with occasional travel for necessary training or meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze clinical data from patient records

• Accurately assign procedural terminology and coding

• Independently assess and interpret medical records

• Ensure compliance with outpatient coding standards

• Provide insights based on strong analytical skills

Requirements:

• CPC, COC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT Certification required

• 3+ years post-certification experience needed

• 2 years of experience in outpatient medical record auditing

• Comprehensive understanding of coding guidelines

• Detail-oriented with strong communication abilities
