Position: Speech Language Pathologist Hybrid Role

We are seeking an unconventional Speech Language Pathologist capable of providing care to adults in their homes and via virtual sessions.

Your role will involve assessing speech, breathing, and swallowing challenges, particularly for those recovering from neurological conditions. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid care model and emphasizes independent practice while providing adequate training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments in client home settings

• Create evidence-based care plans tailored to individual needs

• Utilize both virtual and in-person therapy methods

• Communicate consistently with families and healthcare teams

• Document client progress and modifications to care plans

Requirements:

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario

• Valid Driver’s License and dependable vehicle

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Previous home care experience is a plus; newcomers encouraged to apply
