Join Physio Care At Home as a Mobile Occupational Therapist and provide high-quality in-home care to older adults across the Halifax area.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home OT assessments for older adults
  • Support independence with daily activities, mobility, and home safety
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
  • Educate clients and caregivers to support aging in place
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and document care

Qualifications

Required:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Registered Occupational Therapist in Nova Scotia
  • Valid Canadian driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle

Preferred:

  • Geriatric and/or neurological experience
  • Knowledge of public and private healthcare systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in professional growth
