Join the YMCA's Healthy Heart program as a remote Exercise Physiologist, delivering high-quality virtual exercises for individuals with cardiac and chronic health conditions. Your expertise will make a difference in the lives of participants every day.
In this part-time, remote role, you'll report to the YMCA Healthy Heart Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include overseeing online exercise classes, managing participant health and safety, and providing personalized support to individuals with known conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. You are a key player in enhancing participant wellness through dedicated service and education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee enriching virtual exercise classes for participants
• Manage medical case reviews and participant health monitoring
• Conduct orientation sessions and check in monthly with participants
• Provide excellent customer service and track intake functions
• Ensure the safety and compliance of all participants
Requirements:
• CEP certification from ACSM or CSEP
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
• Valid First Aid, CPR-C & AED certificate
• Experience in cardiac rehabilitation preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
