Practice Manager – Asda Pharmacy
Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus. It requires a strong leader with a passion for healthcare and a focus on driving a profitable business. The role is accountable for delivering all pharmacy-related targets and deadlines, and for managing the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues to support the drive to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.

On a day-to-day basis, the Pharmacy Practice Manager will lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver an excellent patient experience and achieve exceptional levels of patient safety. The manager will take direct responsibility for the support and development of all direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of professional customer service and compliance within GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
With access to in-store, regional and home‑office teams, the manager will be supported for all clinical or service‑based queries.
Qualifications- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
- Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare
- Ability to balance line manager and pharmacist roles to deliver a safe working environment
- Ability to inspire and motivate the team to deliver results within defined KRAs
- Experience in comfortably challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations while maintaining solid connections in-store and with field teams
- Valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, DBS check and live update service enrollment
