Bradford District and Craven Mind offers group support across a number of different services to ensure that nobody has to face a mental health problem alone.
Through our Adult and Older Adult (AOA) services, we deliver a range of group sessions and activities. From creative activities to structured support programmes, we support people to take care of their emotional and mental wellbeing. People accessing our services have a range of group-focused activities to choose from, from social activities, peer support and wellbeing courses in our Wellbeing Team
, to community groups set in nature in our Nature in Mind team, to peer support groups within our Hearing Voices offer on site at Kenburgh House.
We're looking for a committed, proactive and enthusiastic person to join us as a relief worker. As a relief practitioner, you will work with colleagues across departments to support facilitate our group support offer, to cover staff absence and annual leave. Flexibility to work various shifts within the week, sometimes on short notice, is essential for this role.
After three months in post covering group support across our departments, you will be supported to learn more about other services in BDC Mind, with a view to accessing additional relief opportunities. This could be with our 1-1 support services, telephone services or Children and Young People services.
