About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Pharmaceutical Market Access Specialist to join their expanding team, operating remotely to support their operations near Benoni . This role is essential for ensuring that innovative pharmaceutical products gain timely and sustainable access to patients by navigating complex healthcare systems and payer landscapes. You will develop and implement market access strategies, engage with key stakeholders, and provide insights that support commercial success.
This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to influence healthcare policy and patient access to critical therapies from anywhere.
- Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) to support value propositions for payers and health authorities.
- Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), payers, and government bodies to articulate product value.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and reimbursement policies to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare market access dossiers, presentations, and other relevant documentation for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, medical affairs, and regulatory teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field;
Master's preferred. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in market access , health economics, or pharmaceutical commercial strategy.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and payer decision-making processes.
- Experience in developing value dossiers and engaging with payers.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills .
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
