Child Psychologist - Early Years

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and empathetic Child Psychologist specializing in Early Years to join their multidisciplinary team in Randburg . This role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges in young children. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive support plans, leveraging a hybrid model that includes both in-person assessments and remote consultations.

This is a critical position dedicated to ensuring the mental and emotional well-being of children during their formative years.

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for young children presenting with developmental or behavioral concerns.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support plans.
• Provide consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and educators on child mental health and development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians and therapists, to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and professional standards.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Child Psychology or a related field.
• Registered with the relevant professional psychological board.
• Extensive experience in child assessment and therapeutic interventions for early years.
