About the Service We are looking for a Female Support Worker to support one lady who lives independently in her own home in the Cimla area
.
She is a very active lady who enjoys getting out into the community and attending a range of community groups, activities and events
. Your role will be to support her to maintain her independence and continue doing the things she enjoys.
- Providing one-to-one support to help her live independently.
- Supporting her to attend community groups, activities and events on a daily basis.
- Using your own vehicle or public transport to access the community.
- Supporting with her oxygen needs following appropriate training.
- Encouraging and supporting her independence, choices and interests.
- Providing companionship and helping her maintain an active lifestyle.
- Working confidently as a lone worker within her home and in the community.
- Day shift: 7:30am 10:30pm
- Sleep-in: 10:30pm 7:30am
The role involves working as part of a rota, including sleep-in shifts.
We're looking for someone who is:- Caring, reliable and patient.
- Confident working independently and as a lone worker.
- Outgoing and happy to support someone who enjoys an active lifestyle
. - Comfortable accessing the community using public transport or their own vehicle.
- Passionate about promoting independence and supporting people to live life on their own terms.
NB:
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK Home Office rules, as it does not meet the required salary or skill level criteria.
Whilst we encourage applications to other roles, candidates who already have a valid right to work in the UK through other immigration routes or permissions must meet the minimum eligibility of having at least two years remaining on your current visa.
