About the Role
Our client is actively recruiting a dedicated Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their safety monitoring team, working remotely. This critical role involves the surveillance, detection, assessment, and prevention of adverse effects related to pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for managing safety databases, performing signal detection activities, and ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to patient safety from the comfort of their home, working within a supportive and technologically advanced remote infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and safety profile of our client's medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, process, and assess adverse event reports from various sources.
- Maintain and manage the company's pharmacovigilance database.
- Conduct signal detection and risk assessment activities.
- Prepare and submit periodic safety update reports (PSURs/PBRERs) to regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacovigilance procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on safety-related inquiries and issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or a related healthcare science field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
- Thorough understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Experience with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ArisG) and case processing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, vital for a remote role.
