Clinical Research Associate; CRA)

About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support ongoing clinical trials in the George region. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and quality of trial data by monitoring clinical sites, verifying compliance with protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth operation of clinical studies, working closely with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams to advance pharmaceutical development in Western Cape .

This position offers a blend of field visits and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring essential on-site oversight.

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits to ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and validity of clinical data recorded in case report forms (CRFs) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Manage communication between the sponsor and clinical trial sites, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and all applicable local and international regulations.
• Prepare and present monitoring visit reports, highlighting findings and recommending corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes.
• Proficiency in ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with EDC systems and clinical trial management software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
