About the Role
Our client is seeking a certified and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join their remote support team, serving athletes and sports organizations. You will provide expert guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement, working closely with athletes to ensure their physical well-being and optimal performance. This role requires a deep understanding of sports medicine, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to deliver effective, personalized care plans remotely.
You will leverage technology and telehealth platforms to provide consultations, develop recovery strategies, and educate individuals on maintaining peak physical condition, contributing to the success and health of athletes across various disciplines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive injury prevention programs for athletes.
- Assess athletic injuries, provide immediate care, and design rehabilitation protocols.
- Educate athletes and coaches on injury management, nutrition, and conditioning.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote assessments and provide ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all athletes under your care.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in sports medicine and athletic training.
- Certification as an Athletic Trainer (e.g., BOC certification).
- Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field is preferred.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience in sports injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
