About the Role
Our client is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Remote Sports Psychologist to provide mental performance support to athletes worldwide. This fully remote position involves delivering expert guidance to enhance athletes' focus, confidence, resilience, and overall mental well-being. You will conduct virtual consultations, develop personalized mental skills training programs, and collaborate with coaches and support staff to foster optimal performance environments.

- Conduct remote assessments of athletes' mental strengths and areas for development.
- Develop and implement individualized mental skills training programs (e.g., visualization, goal setting, stress management).
- Provide counseling and support to athletes dealing with performance anxiety, burnout, and team dynamics.
- Collaborate with coaches and trainers to integrate psychological strategies into overall training plans.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines for sports psychology practice.
- Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Sport Psychology or a related field, with relevant licensure.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with athletes or sports teams.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams) for client sessions.
- Strong understanding of performance enhancement techniques and mental health interventions for athletes.
- Excellent active listening, empathy, and communication skills, adapted for remote interaction.
