Pharmacovigilance Officer - Drug Safety

About the Role

Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical company , is looking for a diligent Pharmacovigilance Officer to ensure the safety and efficacy of their medicinal products. Based remotely, this role involves monitoring, detecting, assessing, and preventing adverse effects of pharmaceutical drugs. You will be responsible for managing adverse event reporting, maintaining safety databases, and ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations. This is a critical role for maintaining public health and upholding the trust placed in our client's products, requiring a meticulous approach and a deep understanding of drug safety principles.

• Collect, process, and assess individual case safety reports (ICSRs) from various sources.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of ICSRs to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the company's safety database with accurate and complete information.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and other safety documents.
• Monitor safety signals and contribute to signal detection and risk assessment activities.
• Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines (e.g., GVP modules).

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or a related healthcare/life science field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety within the pharmaceutical industry .
• Proficiency in using safety databases and adverse event reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
