Remote Biostatistician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Biostatistician to join their global clinical development team. This fully remote position requires a sophisticated understanding of statistical principles applied to clinical trial design, data analysis, and interpretation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the scientific rigor and validity of clinical studies, contributing to regulatory submissions and publications. Working collaboratively with clinicians, data managers, and regulatory experts from your home office, you will play a key role in advancing innovative pharmaceutical products through rigorous statistical analysis and methodology.

• Design statistical analysis plans for clinical trials, including sample size calculations and randomization schemes.
• Perform complex statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS, R, or other statistical software.
• Interpret statistical results and contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and scientific publications.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure the appropriate statistical methodology is applied throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Provide statistical expertise and guidance on study design, data collection, and analysis strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in statistical methodologies and their applications in clinical research.

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on clinical trials.
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS (highly preferred), R, or S-Plus.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistical modeling, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively and independently in a remote team environment.
