Care Assistant – Sponsorship East

Care Outlook is recruiting Care Assistants in East Sussex to join its dedicated care team and provide high-quality support to vulnerable and elderly people in their own homes.

This is a community-based role with guaranteed contracted hours

Care Outlook states that it is unable to sponsor applicants applying from outside the UK because current Home Office rules do not permit international recruitment for care workers in the same way as previously. However, candidates who are already living in the UK with valid immigration permission may be considered where they are eligible to move into the Skilled Worker route under applicable transitional arrangements.

All other applicants must have a full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. Right-to-work eligibility will be checked in line with Home Office requirements before an offer is confirmed.

As a Care Assistant, you will support clients in their own homes and help improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care, including washing, toileting and dressing
• Building positive and respectful relationships with clients
• Carrying out light housekeeping duties
• Observing clients and monitoring their wellbeing
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Supporting vulnerable and elderly people with their daily needs
• Travelling between clients’ homes within the local community

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to their own vehicle

• Have flexibility to work around clients’ needs
• Be willing to work every second weekend
• Be comfortable travelling between clients’ homes

Due to the community-based nature of the role, a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are normally required.

Care Outlook provides a comprehensive training programme for new starters, meaning previous care experience is not required
.

The company also operates an electric bike initiative for non-drivers, which may provide financial support towards the cost of a suitable electric bike for travelling to work.

Available care assistant shifts may include:

• 7:00am – 2:00pm
• 4:00pm – 10:00pm
• 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Weekend availability is required on a rotational basis, with schedules arranged in advance.
