About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a diligent Remote Pharmacovigilance Specialist to bolster their drug safety team. In this fully remote role , you will be instrumental in monitoring, detecting, assessing, and preventing adverse effects or any other drug-related problems. Your expertise will ensure the safety profile of our client's pharmaceutical products is rigorously maintained, contributing to patient well-being and regulatory compliance.

• Collect, process, and document adverse event reports from various sources in compliance with regulatory timelines.
• Perform initial case assessment and triage, escalating serious adverse events as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and other regulatory safety documents.
• Support internal and external audits related to pharmacovigilance activities.
• Stay abreast of evolving global regulatory requirements and guidelines for drug safety monitoring.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or drug safety monitoring.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for adverse event reporting (e.g., FDA, EMA, SAHPRA).
• Experience with pharmacovigilance databases and safety reporting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting .
