About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Medical Affairs Manager to lead their medical affairs strategy in the Soweto region, operating under a hybrid work arrangement. This leadership role is critical in ensuring the scientific and medical integrity of the company's products and engaging effectively with the medical community. You will oversee medical information, scientific communication, and medical education initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle management and the dissemination of key clinical data within the pharmaceutical industry .

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for medical affairs activities in the assigned region.
• Manage the provision of accurate and timely medical information to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the development and delivery of medical education programs and scientific materials.
• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and build strong relationships within the medical community.
• Ensure all medical affairs activities comply with relevant regulations, codes of conduct, and company policies.

• Advanced degree (M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in medical affairs, medical science liaison, or a related role within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven leadership and management experience.
• In-depth understanding of clinical research, disease states, and the pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
