As a Domiciliary Care Worker, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing compassionate personal care and support with daily living activities
• Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate care records
• Communicating effectively with service users, families and healthcare professionals
• Supporting clients with personal hygiene, mobility and other daily tasks
• Accompanying or driving clients to appointments and outings when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable home environment
• Providing emotional support to clients and their families
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and other care professionals
• Demonstrating professionalism, empathy and leadership when supporting service users

Previous care experience is preferred, although training may be provided to suitable candidates.

Applicants should have:

• Experience in a nursing home, domiciliary care or assisted-living environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, patient and empathetic approach
• Knowledge of good caregiving practices and procedures
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• An understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice or elderly care
• The ability to support clients with mobility and equipment where required
• First aid certification or willingness to undertake training
• A valid driving licence and clean driving record where driving is required
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends or overnight shifts

Pay: £12.71 – £19.74 per hour
Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
