** At Active Care Group, we're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Female Live-In Support Worker to support one of our male clients who has a spinal cord injruy in his own home.

This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one person while enjoying an excellent work-life balance through our 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off live-in rota.
** Meet the client:
** Our male client is a gentleman who lives independently in his own home in Basingstoke. He has an incomplete spinal cord injury affecting his neck, meaning that he has some movement and/or sensation below the level of his injury. He values his independence and appreciates having the right support to help him manage his day-to-day life and continue doing the things he enjoys.

Our client has a much-loved dog who is an important part of his life. He enjoys going to auctions and getting out and about when possible, as well as listening to music in his free time. He is looking for a female support worker who can build a positive and respectful relationship with him, support his independence and accompany him with his interests and activities.

** A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

* About the Role:

** As a Live-In Support Worker, you'll stay in the client's home during your placement and provide person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and community participation.
** What You'll Be Doing:
*** Supporting access to community activities and social events
* Promoting independence and confidence
* Supporting communication and engagement
* Ensuring safety, wellbeing and comfort
* Encouraging participation in hobbies, sports and interests
* Working closely with family members and the wider care team
** What to look forward to:*** £127.50 per day
