This full-time hybrid role is based in Altrincham, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Medical Records Analyst, Nurse, Midwife, Doctor will review, analyse, and interpret medical records to support medico-legal cases, ensuring documents are complete, accurate, and properly structured. Day-to-day responsibilities include collating and organising clinical documentation, applying medical terminology and clinical knowledge to create clear chronologies, and supporting screening and assessment of cases.

The role involves working closely with the in-house clinical and operations teams, contributing to quality assurance processes, and using secure digital platforms to manage records and share information with legal and clinical partners. The successful candidate will uphold data protection standards, follow established protocols, and participate in ongoing training to maintain up-to-date professional skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex clinical information and medical documentation.
• Proficient in medical terminology and able to apply clinical knowledge (nursing, midwifery, medical practice) in a medico-legal context.
• Experience or training in health information management, including secure handling, structuring, and retrieval of medical records.
• Background in medical records review and collation, with attention to accuracy, completeness, and clear chronology.
• Quality assurance mindset, with proven ability to follow protocols, check work thoroughly, and meet compliance standards.
• Relevant clinical qualification such as registered nurse, midwife, or medical doctor
• Excellent written communication skills for producing concise, clear reports and summaries for legal and clinical stakeholders.
• Comfort with digital tools and secure platforms, including basic proficiency in office software and electronic record systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
