Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

Our client, a leading innovator in oncology, is seeking an accomplished Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their esteemed team on a fully remote basis, focusing on the Gauteng region. This field-based scientific role involves engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and researchers to disseminate critical scientific information about their innovative oncology treatments . You will serve as a vital scientific resource, fostering relationships and facilitating the exchange of data to advance understanding and appropriate use of cutting-edge therapies.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers in the oncology field.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data related to oncology drugs and therapeutic areas.
• Serve as a scientific expert and provide medical information to support clinical trial activities and investigator-initiated studies.
• Gather insights from KOLs and relay them to internal medical and research teams.
• Attend relevant scientific congresses and meetings to represent the company and network with experts.

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant life science discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar scientific affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology .
• In-depth knowledge of oncology, clinical trial design, and the pharmaceutical drug development process.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a remote territory within Gauteng.
