Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coding standards to medical record documentation

• Submit queries to resolve discrepancies in documentation

• Perform quality assessments of medical records

• Review charges and recommend changes as necessary

• Abstract and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes

Requirements:

• Three years of Same Day Surgery coding experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and remote work

• AHIMA/AAPC Credentials required

• Maintain 95% quality accuracy rate

• Auditing experience of five years preferred
