NMC and HCPC professionals eligible to apply. What is on offer as a PIP Disability Assessor? - Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available) - Bishop Auckland based when working on-site - 25 days annual leave  8 Bank Holidays  the ability to buy or sell 5 more days  pension
- Hybrid/home working available - NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What does the PIP Disability Assessor role involve? The PIP Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for the claim. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't.

Your role is to gather information and produce the report. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people focussed organisation. You'll receive outstanding training and support to ensure you are the best you can be in your new Disability Assessor role! What we look for;
* An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience
* Someone who is proactive and keen to learn
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competent IT and computer skills
