Vista Innovative Solutions (VIS) is seeking a Trauma Registrar in San Antonio, TX to support trauma registry and clinical data abstraction activities. This is a full-time, remote position supporting the JTS Enterprise Support contract.
What You’ll Do:- Support trauma registry and clinical data abstraction activities.
- Apply ICD-10, Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS), and NTDS definitions.
- Support trauma data abstraction, validation, and coding.
- Conduct data-quality audits.
- Support trauma registry systems.
Required:
- Completion of trauma registry/registrar training.
- Minimum 3 years of trauma registry, clinical data abstraction, or related health information experience.
- Working knowledge of ICD-10, Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS), NTDS definitions, trauma data abstraction, validation, coding, data-quality audits, and registry systems.
- Associate degree in health information management, nursing, healthcare, or related field.
- Current trauma registry certification, such as CSTR.
- DoDTR experience.
