Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Drug Safety Associate to join their global safety surveillance team. This fully remote position is critical for monitoring the safety of pharmaceutical products post-marketing. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing, assessment, and reporting of adverse event data, ensuring compliance with worldwide regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities- Process, evaluate, and report adverse event cases according to company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform case seriousness and causality assessments.
- Identify potential safety signals and elevate them for further investigation.
- Contribute to the preparation of aggregate safety reports, such as DSURs and PADERs.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners on safety-related inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or life sciences field (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Biology).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in drug safety or pharmacovigilance.
- Thorough understanding of adverse event reporting requirements in major markets (e.g., US, EU).
- Proficiency with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ArisG) and case processing.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
