This is a full-time, 12-month, open-rank faculty appointment in the fully online Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) Program. The position's primary responsibility is high-quality graduate teaching. The faculty member will also contribute to student advising, curriculum and assessment activities, CAHME accreditation-related work, scholarship, service, and program initiatives. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications at the time of hire.

Required Qualifications
- Earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in healthcare administration, health services research, public health, health policy, healthcare leadership, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Relevant teaching, healthcare leadership, healthcare administration, consulting, policy, research, or related professional experience.
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, effective graduate teaching and scholarly or professional contribution.
- Experience teaching in online or asynchronous graduate programs.
- Experience in two or more MHA curricular areas, allowing flexibility across teaching assignments.
- Applied expertise in one or more emerging or strategically important areas, such as responsible artificial intelligence in healthcare, healthcare data analytics, informatics, digital health, data governance and ethics, digital transformation, international or comparative health systems, healthcare innovation, or other areas responsive to evolving industry and workforce needs.
- Healthcare executive, administrative, consulting, or organizational leadership experience, with the ability to translate real-world decision-making, innovation, and complex health system challenges into graduate learning.
- Experience with competency-based education, program assessment, curriculum development, or CAHME-accredited programs.
- Relevant professional credentials or active engagement with organizations such as ACHE, AUPHA, CAHME, MGMA, and/or comparable associations.
- Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach effectively in an online graduate environment.
- Broad knowledge of healthcare administration, healthcare organizations, and contemporary health system challenges.
- Ability to translate theory and professional experience into applied student learning.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Commitment to a broad, accessible, and student‑centered teaching practices that support adult learners from varied professional, educational, geographic, and personal backgrounds.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging healthcare technologies responsibly, with attention to ethics, data governance, privacy, and organizational impact.
- Ability to cultivate interdisciplinary, industry, and community partnerships that strengthen applied learning and keep the curriculum responsive to changing healthcare needs.
Provide effective, student‑centered instruction in the MHA curriculum and contribute to the continued quality, growth, and mission of the program. The faculty member should be prepared to teach across multiple healthcare administration content areas, such as healthcare management, leadership, strategy, operations, quality and patient safety, health policy, finance, human resources, law and ethics, information systems, or population health.
