Clinical Research Associate; CRA; Pharmaceutical

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support their pharmaceutical clinical trials in the Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu-Natal region. This hybrid role requires a balance of field visits to investigational sites and remote work, ensuring the efficient and ethical execution of clinical studies. You will play a critical role in monitoring trial progress, ensuring data integrity, and verifying subject safety according to protocol and regulatory standards.

Your efforts will directly contribute to bringing new and improved medicines to patients.

• Conduct site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trial sites.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of clinical trial data recorded in Case Report Forms (CRFs) and electronic systems.
• Ensure adherence to the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and other applicable regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the sponsor and the investigative site staff.
• Train site personnel on study-specific procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee subject safety and report adverse events and serious adverse events in a timely manner.

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CRA in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Thorough understanding of clinical trial process , GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in clinical trial management software and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively to assigned clinical sites.
