About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Medical Affairs Manager to lead their medical affairs function, supporting their pharmaceutical portfolio. This fully remote leadership position requires a deep understanding of medical strategy, scientific communication, and the regulatory landscape. You will be instrumental in developing and executing the company's medical affairs plan, engaging with key opinion leaders, and ensuring the scientific integrity of product communications.

This is a unique opportunity for a medical affairs leader to shape the strategic direction and scientific engagement of a growing pharmaceutical company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall medical affairs strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of scientific and medical information for assigned products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), medical experts, and relevant scientific bodies.
  • Provide medical oversight for promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the development and execution of clinical research programs, including investigator-initiated studies.
  • Stay abreast of scientific advancements, clinical data, and market trends within relevant therapeutic areas.
Requirements
  • MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in a life science or medical discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in medical affairs roles within the pharmaceutical industry .
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful medical affairs strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of drug development, clinical research, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate cross-functionally in a remote environment.
