Caring Angels Home Care is looking for part-time and full-time dynamic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for our Home based Pediatric cases. This position offers up to $80,000.00 salary plus an excellent benefits package which includes:
Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 27 Paid Time Off Days, 10 Paid Holidays
The option to cover Case Load on Weekends is available.
Our part-time and full-time positions offer therapists the option to have a Personal Driver pick you up from your home ( Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx ) and drive you to your cases and then back home. Currently, we are the only agency in New York that offers this unique door-to-door car service!
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA )Job Description
- Assessing under the OT Supervisor the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
- Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
- Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
- Identifying the patients Sensory Integration processing needs.
- Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.
- Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.
Qualifications:
Certified by The State of New York as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
