Our client is seeking a highly specialized and dedicated Healthcare Architect to join their fully remote team. This critical role focuses on the design and planning of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and specialized medical centers. You will work on projects that directly impact patient care and operational efficiency, requiring a deep understanding of healthcare-specific regulations, technologies, and functional requirements. Key Responsibilities- Lead the architectural design of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with strict healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate closely with medical professionals, facility managers, and technical consultants to define project requirements.
- Develop detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for clinical spaces, patient rooms, operating theaters, and support areas.
- Ensure designs promote patient safety, infection control, operational efficiency, and therapeutic environments.
- Coordinate with engineers specializing in medical gas systems, HVAC for sensitive areas, and other healthcare infrastructure.
- Manage project documentation and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines specific to healthcare projects.
- Master's degree in Architecture with specialized experience in healthcare design.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience designing healthcare facilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of healthcare building codes, standards (e.g., National Health Act requirements), and best practices.
- Proficiency in architectural design and BIM software (e.g., Revit).
- Understanding of medical equipment integration, patient flow, and operational workflows in healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills for remote collaboration.
