Patient Educator, Southeast

Patient Educator focused on Parkinson's Disease Psychosis (PDP), responsible for delivering disease state education and support to patients and caregivers, facilitating access to treatment options like NUPLAZID.

• Conduct community-based education sessions
• Provide information on safety, efficacy, and coverage support
• Partner with Patient Access Managers to address reimbursement questions
• Collaborate with neurology sales teams, advocacy groups, and professional societies to promote awareness and support

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field (nursing, social work, psychology) with 3-5 years pharma experience, particularly in patient education, navigation, or advocacy
• Knowledge of neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders, especially Parkinson's disease or PDP, is preferred

Strong communication, empathy, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration

Work involves extensive travel (up to 75%), including overnight and local travel, with a focus on supporting underserved neurological patient communities.

Primarily within specified territories near Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, or Virginia Beach, with flexible remote work options.
