Located in the central corridor of metro Phoenix, close to Sky Harbor Intl. Airport, the Spooner Sports Institute is a premier destination for athletes (high school, collegiate, and professional) to address their rehab and performance needs. The Institute is a 16,000 square foot physical therapy clinic, with 4700 sq. ft. of turf, and a 4000 sq. ft. strength & conditioning center.
Spooner is built for therapists who want more from their careers—and expect more from the environment they practice in.
From the beginning, Spooner set out to challenge the status quo of healthcare by elevating physical and occupational therapists as primary musculoskeletal experts. Today, that same mindset drives how we build teams, develop leaders, and create environments where therapists can do their best work over the long term.
Growth at Spooner isn’t accidental. It’s intentional, structured, and supported. As we continue expanding across the greater Phoenix area and into the Dallas–Fort Worth market, we’re looking for therapists who want to grow with us—clinically, professionally, and personally.
At Spooner, fun and excellence go hand in hand. Therapists are supported by systems that reduce friction, mentorship that builds confidence through experienced clinical leadership, and leadership that values sustainability just as much as performance.
Our therapists benefit from:- A comprehensive year-long onboarding program that builds clarity and confidence before volume
- Structured mentorship with experienced clinical leaders
- Company-sponsored learning events and hosted continuing education
- Support for advanced certifications, fellowships, and specialty development
- A culture that prioritizes continuous learning, collaboration, and long-term growth
