RHA Health Services is hiring for Crisis Responder / QP / Qualified Professional positions, offering a $1000 sign on bonus.
Eligibility & Qualifications- Qualified Behavioral Health Professional or Licensed Mental Health Clinician
- Qualified Professional (QP) status
- Live in the vicinity of Henderson, Polk, or Transylvania counties
- Minimum of one year crisis experience (ACTT, IIHS, inpatient treatment facility, or other service providing 24/7 crisis response duties)
- Complete criminal background check (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements
- Proof of employment history or references (if required)
- Proof of driver's license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle (if transportation for individuals required)
- Provide crisis response services in a variety of settings (community, doctor’s offices, schools, provider offices, etc.) with the goal of helping individuals in crisis to avoid inpatient hospitalization.
- Serve individuals of all ages and disabilities, most commonly adults in a mental health or substance use crisis.
- Respond to crisis events on 15‑hour on‑call shifts from home or community.
- Work as part of a rotation with other staff providing services to the community.
Pay: $24.00 per hour.
Bonus: $1000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time employees, paid according to the training schedule.
Schedule:
15‑hour on‑call shifts, 9a‑1a, 3–4 days per week rotating. Every other week results in a 3‑day weekend off.
Staff are guaranteed 40 hours per week paid regardless of hours worked.
Position is Regular, full‑time, on‑call, with work from home or the community within the county.
