Remote Health Informatics Internship at Altera

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in related master's programs or hold a postgraduate certificate in health informatics. You will support teamwork across projects, analyze workflows, and assist in developing clinical dashboards. This internship spans 3-4 months and contributes to fostering client relationships and enhancing clinician experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to analyze project requirements
• Document clinical workflows and validate order sets
• Develop clinical dashboards and user-focused reports
• Support process improvements for clinician experiences
• Maintain excellent client relationships during project incidents
Requirements:
• Enrolled in health informatics, computer science, or similar program
• Proficient in MS Office, Visio, Power BI, and SQL
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards
• Coding knowledge in XML, JSON, Python, or SQL
• Strong analytical and communication skills
